Upside down collection
The Upside down collection is a complete interior design concept consisting of multi functional furniture, everything transforms: the table becomes a basket, the chair changes into a throne and the transparent room divider turns into a non-see-through screen.
The Upside down collection was presented for the first time at the Salone Satellite 2015. The original collection was steam bended and made from Ash wood, following an artisanal tradition used to make Mongolian yurts.
Upside down chair is a dining chair in simple lines of wood. It provides sure seating while simultaneously embracing the back. Turned upside down this seat is a throne with a view at bar stool level. In 2022 Upside down chair was curated to be in the Permanent Collection of SaloneSatellite.
Upside down room divider is a transparent room divider made from Ash and translucent fabric. Due to the graphical quality of the fabric, one can play with the degree of transparency. This room divider provides privacy or openness depending on positioning it upwards or when creating overlaps.
Complete the sitting arrangement with the Upside down table. Or turn it into a basket to store magazines or other belongings.
